Christmas List!

Hi Everyone,
I am putting the Christmas list on the blog again this year. Our price range is $30-$40 bucks, so keep that in mind while you are putting stuff on your list... I want a 47" LCD TV, but will probably not put it on this list :)

Just click on the comments button at the bottom, click the Name/URL button, add your name, and then you can add your list to the text box. If you want to, send me your list and I will post it for you. Then, you can just watch the list grow and check it any time you want.

Since it's been almost 4 months

I figured I might try to keep the blog alive with an update on me. 4 months is about how long it takes for me to do enough to post a link about it.

Right now, I am in my 4th planning period of the day, as I lost my seniors this week and have a lot of free time. It works out well, as my room is cleaner than when I moved in here, I have been developing my section of our new school site (shameless plug)

So, obviously, I've been hired back, so I've got that going for me. Planning for next year already, but more intently focused on my first summer off, where I know what to expect next August, in a few years. Not a fan of the unknown. Lots of traveling planned, and hopefully 6 credit hours done as well.

Really don't have much else. See some of you this weekend at Britney's graduation.

Hi everyone! I am attempting my first post. Just though I would put up a pic from the Gator Bowl. We had an awesome time. Thank you Amber and Noel for driving us to Florida! Not much else going on around here. Basketball is still in full swing and takes away any free time we might have on the weekends. Anyway, hope the New Year is going awesome!

Back to school

Hey everyone. Not much to report here, Beckie and I both had to go back to work this week. Her kids came back Monday, and UNL kids don't come back until this Monday. However, us lowly staff members had to go back to work a week early. I am teaching some online courses for Bellevue, and they already started.... no rest for the weary. We are just staying busy and being boring.

I have gone to visit Grace a couple of times. She really doesn't like being at Madona, or Tabitha. I worry that she isn't doing too well.... enough said about that, it is depressing.

I have one more class to take this Spring, then I can take comprehensive final exams this summer, and then I can start writing my dissertation. My plan is to be done by May, 2010.... or Summer, or December... as long as I hit 2010 I don't really care :)

Enough of my rambling. I hope everyone is having a good New Year!

School has started

Well, Terry is back to being a Bulldog with the start of his year, and Rowan is officially a Warrior. She had her first day of begindergarten today; thus, the smiling girl with the backpack. When I picked her up at the elementary, she said, "Mom, I had a great day, and I didn't get in trouble." That made me smile....we had talked about being a good listener and using her manners. Ritch and I thought she might try and boss; Ritch says she comes by that naturally....from her mom. : ) Anyway, she spent the afternoon and evening telling us about the day's events, and then she fell asleep immediately after going to bed. My first day with students was also today; my freshmen are known to be troublesome. I am planning to work them from bell to bell.....no time to cause trouble. Check back with me in a month or so to see if my strategy is working. : ) Ritch is also busy with work and looking forward to taking the week of Labor Day off; he wants to do a few more projects around the house before fall.
Well, we will see most of you in Rapid in a little over a week. Love ya......Paige
